The
Big Bang Never happened. Eric
Lerner is President of Lawrenceville Plasma Physics
Inc. Since 1994 he has been carrying out research on
fusion and fusion propulsion funded by NASA through
the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He is perhaps most famous
for his best-selling book, The Big Bang Never Happened.
Coalition for Plasma Science CPS
"Plasma science and its many applications make significant contributions to society and to the quality of our lives. But this exciting and rapidly progressing field of science is little understood or appreciated by the general public, including the media, the education community and policy-makers...
"...The mission of CPS is to increase public awareness and understanding of plasma science and its many applications and benefits for society."
IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science focus on plasma science and engineering, including: magnetofluid dynamics and thermionics; plasma dynamics; gaseous electronics and arc technology.
Plasma Cosmology — LPP Fusion. Plasma physics is essential for understanding the universe on all scales, including the largest, the realm of cosmology.
Perspectives

an excellent site with links to many other technical
resources. From the site:
"The forthcoming scientific
revolution is presaged by the rapid pace of discoveries
about our own star, the Sun, and its total plasma environment."

We have to learn again that science without
contact with experiments is an enterprise which is likely
to go completely astray into imaginary conjecture.

www.thunderbolts.info
is the leading resource for the Electric Universe. It
is updated with fascinating and challenging news
items on a daily basis.
A quote from the site:
"The fires of an intellectual revolution
have been lit. Though unannounced, this shift in thought
and perception will change our ideas about the natural
world, about objects in space, and about the human past."
Holoscience
is the web resource of Wal Thornhill, the man behind
the Electric Universe. The term 'Electric Universe'
has been used before, but never in the same broad, holistic
sense.
The Plasma
Universe is an excellent resource set up by Ian
Tresman, a long time plasma and catastrophism reseacher,
also well known in the field.
Plasma
Resources is another fine resource site. It was created after its author grew frustrated trying
to find relevant materials on mainstream web sites.

Mythology and Catastrophism |
|

|
|
The Society for Interdisciplinary Studies (SIS) was formed in 1974 in response to the growing interest in global cosmic catastrophes, and takes an objective interdisciplinary approach to subjects as diverse as astrophysics, ancient history, geology and mythology.
Maverick
Science takes a scholarly look at mythology and
catastrophism.
"The Central Dogma of modern astronomy holds that the various planets have occupied their present orbits for millions of years while circling peacefully about the Sun. This belief-system dominates the physical sciences in general and, together with the doctrine of uniformitarianism—i.e., the hypothesis that familiar and continuous processes have driven evolutionary change—it informs the natural sciences as well. Although the Central Dogma is rarely questioned or subjected to serious critical analysis, Maverick Science presents a wealth of evidence documenting that it is contradicted by the historical record. If this claim can be substantiated, it stands to reason that a scientific revolution is sure to follow, the likes of which has seldom been seen."

Mythopedia.info
introduces Plasma Mythology. Marinus Anthony van der
Sluijs has enjoyed a lifelong interest in the field.
Varchive.org
is probably the leading resource for Velikovsky related
material, including video clips and much of his fascinating
correspondence with Einstein.
Annother excellent Velikovsky

For a more conservative approach to Plasma Physics
try Dr David Stern's site.
(He is a retired NASA scientist.) It is an excellent
resource, and raises a strong challenge to mainstream
perceptions of an electrically neutral universe. Curiously,
the last time I looked (April 2005), it made no mention
of Double Layers, one of the most important plasma phenomena.
The
Coalition for Plasma Science aims to increase public
awareness and understanding of plasma science and its
many applications and benefits for society. Here is
a quote form the site:
"With the emergence of radio wave,
UV and X-ray images of distant astrophysical systems,
we are now beginning to recognize the importance of
plasma processes not just for the solar system but for
all astrophysical systems. New images of stellar nebulae
like that of the supernova remnant shown above dramatically
reveal a broad range of plasma processes... Wherever
these research frontiers lead, we now know that our
cosmos is more than just gravity plus gas; instead it
is gravity, some neutral gas, and lots of plasma!"

Rupert
Sheldrake is one of the world's most innovative
biologists, and is best known for his theory of morphic
fields and morphic resonance, which leads to a vision
of a living, developing universe with its own inherent
memory.
Sheldrake at the 2013 EU conference. Science Set Free video - 10 dogmas of modern science! The online censorship of his work started a firestorm of protest!
Distinguished geologist Robert Schoch recognises the significance of petroglyhs and their relationship to intense plasma phenomena in the past.
Gerald Pollack begins to explain the many magical properties of water from an electrical and free thinking perspective. His pioneering work helps us to look deeper (pun intended) into something we take very much for granted.
Skeptical about Skeptics .org have done some excellent work exposing the questionable motivations of a number of prominent 'skeptics'. The philosophical derivation of the term skepticism means to doubt certainty, and yet these so-called skeptics appear utterly certain of their own world view.
The work of Halton
Arp has effectively destroyed the theoretical basis
for an expanding universe.
Aetherometry
is the study of the metrics of the Aether. It is influenced
by the work of Tesla, among others, and there are
some interesting parallels with ideas presented on this
web site.
Fun with electricity. John
Dyer plays with Tesla coils and produces some interesting
results. Imagine these effects being scaled up thousands
of times.
What
is Electricity? This excellent
web resource cuts through many of the misconceptions
that surround the stuff we take very much for granted
— "Electricity." The term actually encompasses a number
of different phenomena, and you'll be surprised how
many textbooks get it wrong.

A great read for all inquisitive children aged 3-7. Learning can be fun.
Alternative weather forecasting
Piers Corbyn at Weather Action has been able to provide forecasts with startling accuracy based on an Electric Universe approach — principally that of taking the electromagnetic fluctuations of the Sun into account. This non-ideological approach (he is not funded by any academic or AGW interests) enabled him, notably, to predict a harsh winter for the UK in 2010. The prediction was made in early November and, sure enough, Britain suffered badly in December 2010.
Could gambling save science? Encouraging an honest consensus by Robin Hanson:
"Consider the example of Piers Corbyn, a London astrophysicist who has been unable to get academic meteorologists interested in his unusual theory of long-term weather cycles (New Scientist, 1990). Since June 1988 he has been making bets to gain publicity, betting against the bookmakers William Hill, who uses odds posted by the British Meteorological Service. He has been winning. Over the 26 months from April 1989 to May 1991, Corbyn has made at least 9 bets a month (and averaged over 20 bets a month) and has won 80% of these bets, gaining an average rate of return of over 25% per bet. (Depending on what independence you assume between bets in a given month, the chance of this happening randomly is between 1 in 400 and 1 in 1050.) Yet the Service still refuses to take Corbyn seriously, or make even token bets against him. This doesn't seem quite fair; hasn't Corbyn earned the right to be considered? William Hill has taken on the bets for the publicity but is tired of losing, and has adjusted their odds accordingly. Why shouldn't these be the odds used for official British agricultural policy, instead of the Service's predictions?"
